Brrr...Honey, it's coooold outside!

I think it's my turn to take the trash out. Thinking, thinking, thinking...gave the kid a bath, fed her three meals and a snack yesterday, did her laundry, cleaned the kitchen....thinking, thinking, nooo I am pretty sure hubby owes me!

Plus...

....it's 60 degrees here in Hawaii (I know, I know my cold weathering friends and sisters) but it's not normal. It's caused the locals to bust out the vacation ski gear to stay warm. While some of you leave the snow for sunshine, we go toward it with glee. That whole grass is greener on the other side thing.

But not today.

I'm layering at the moment. Because it's to farking cold for this island girl.

I wouldn't last an hour in your snowy neck of the planet...(brr, me shuddering). Must go back to bed, it's a lot warmer there. Plus, I have to work later and it's nap time.

Um, no honey, I think it is YOUR turn. I'm pretty sure of it, plus I gotta take my make me pretty for work nap time thing.

Thanks, your a peach.

I'll trade places with you anytime but not this week. Supposed to Snow tomorrow. Been wishing for it forever. I might be lucky after all.
Keep warm!

I am laughing because I'm chilled in LA at 60 degrees, it must be brutal for an Island girl. Thin blood indeed.

60 degrees IS cold in Hawaii. It's easier to deal with it on the Mainland when it's more of a gradual change (you may have heard of it -- called seasons:) It's the mid-40s over there, but I'm probably just as chilly as you feel in 60 in Hawaii. It's kind of hard to describe to people that haven't lived there before, but it really does feel chillier over there.

Yes, grass is greener. But I get snow yearly as well as 95 degrees. I'd travel to snow to ski if I could figure out a way to sneak the kids into a grandparent's house while they're sleeping (they'd never go for a full week conscious). BUT...with that said, I'd much prefer to fly to your neck of the woods N.E. DAY.

Stay warm and safe! It's not that cold here in the Philippines as compared to other countries but it's also not normal. You might as well bring a jacket with you. :)

I would love a warm cozy 60 degrees but I will take my 3 degrees and be thankful it isn't -20 degrees. Gotta love those naps.

Yeah, that's chilly for the islands... Ready for warm blanket!!!

It's going to get really chilly here to this week - 56 degree on Tuesday.... I know you and I are so spoiled, complaining about being cold when it's only 60!!

I can totally out do you on this one...the weather I mean, not the Pj thing because I think you can almost always catch me in PJ bottoms, as long as I am not leaving the house and company is not coming over. But today it was 83 here. So I know what you mean about it being 60 and being cold!

PUHLEEZ!!!!!

It was -2 here Thursday - when you factor in wind chill...-15 to -20.

Now - that is cold.

When it's sixty here this time of year...you see people in shorts and flip flops.

Followed anna's link to you. I just did a post on how all the high school students are swearing up a storm (pun intended) over the "cold" weather we are having.

I'm gonna remember this post the next time it's -28F outside, like it was 2 days last week. 60F seems bloody WONDERFUL to me right now. Break out the shorts and the grill...which happens to be buried under 13" of fresh snow! Oiy!
