American Idol Night

Can't wait for tonight's show...come back for my thoughts (and gasps) as we watch tonight's eposide my fellow AI-ian's (mmm, our new word?)

My sister made it to the Inauguration and said it was the most amazing thing. I wish I could have been with her! To see the nations first African-American president be sworn in. And another sense of pride because of his roots here in Hawaii.

I watched online. It was awesome though I would NOT have wanted to be there only because big crowds like that scare the crap out of me.

I love American Idol as well. I can't wait to see what the next stop brings!

As for the inauguration..I was able to listen to it via am radio. I'm glad I did too! (Not the same as being there..but still, I got to experience my little piece of history)

YAY for American Idol, I do like reading your posts afterwards.
And, everytime I read you are in Hawaii, I always have a stab of jealousy! LOL!

Since I don't have TV I will have to get the scoop from you. My favorite bloggers never fell to let me know the highlights and I like them better than the show!

I watched the "festivities" online - just amazing - can't imagine getting to be there!

Love AI and I already have a favorite....the boy who's wife died recently, he was so amazingly talented and when he talked about his wife I cried, so I'll be voting for him as soon as he makes it through hell week..LOL...

I watched President Obama speak and was crying...he's got such a peacefulness and passion to him, it just radiates! Ok so I'm done with all the teary talk! Have a wonderful night!! :)

I'm watching American Idol right now and I can't believe they let the weird first girl with the foo foo dress through. Oh well, and lucky sister!!

Love American Idol...hello! Wouldn't miss it! And I wish I could have been there in Washington DC today too...butalso glad I was warm at home without the massive crowds! TOO many people! Wow! Oh, I saw you stopped by and want the recipe for the Tatertot Casserole...no problem!

Brown 1 lb. ground beef, drain grease.
In a bowl, mix the browned meat, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup and 1 can of cut green beans (also drained). Spread that into a 9x9 glass baking dish and top with a generous layer of tatertots. Bake as directed on the Tatertots package...usually about 20-25 minutes at 450 degrees or so. I usually double the recipe and bake it in a 9x13 baking dish instead...my hubby loves the leftovers of this recipe! Sometimes people add onions and other stuff and spices, but since I have little ones, I like to keep it simple! ;) Enjoy! It's so yummy! ;)

Sorry about the extra long comment! Ha ha!

I've got AI on the DVR still. The Inauguration was on my list of stuff to watch first. All S.I.X hours of it that hubby recorded. I can't wait to see who they find this week. I already have a few favorites.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Can't wait for new updates.
